Panattoni Park Santarém: A Key Development in Central Portugal’s Logistics Corridor

Panattoni Park Santarém has now been completed, marking an important addition to the logistics landscape in central Portugal. Located in a strategic area of the municipality of Santarém, with direct access to the A1 motorway and strong connections to the main national road network, the development is well positioned to support modern logistics and distribution operations.

The logistics park offers approximately 34,000 sqm of gross leasable area, set on a site of around 100,000 sqm, providing flexibility to accommodate different operational needs and occupier profiles.

The building was delivered to high technical and environmental standards, incorporating energy-efficient solutions such as LED lighting, readiness for photovoltaic panels, generous loading and unloading areas and a clear internal height of 10.6 metres, suitable for large-scale logistics operations. The project has been designed with BREEAM Excellent certification in mind.

DDN provided construction supervision services, supporting the project from the early stages through to completion. Our role focused on ensuring compliance with technical, legal and functional requirements, while promoting effective coordination between disciplines, quality control and the optimisation of project solutions. This approach contributed to the successful delivery of a high-quality logistics asset.

In addition to this project, DDN was also involved in Panattoni Park Porto Valongo, in northern Portugal, a logistics development with a total area of 76,000 sqm, further strengthening our experience in large-scale logistics projects.

The project was completed in the first quarter of 2026 and is currently 100% leased, confirming the market appeal of the asset and the suitability of the solution to current logistics requirements.

By strengthening regional logistics capacity and supporting efficient supply chains, Panattoni Park Santarém reinforces Santarém’s position as a strategic hub for distribution and warehousing activities.
