In the Construction Area, the Rehabilitation sector is one of the sectors where DDN has an extensive experience over its more than 25 years of existence, with more than 100 interventions in this area.

Due to their specificity, the rehabilitation works hide several difficulties, so it is important to face them with teams with experience in their conduct, where we highlight the following aspects:
• The use of high-risk engineering in the containment and integration of old structures, where discontinued technologies, that must be mastered, were used;
• The incorporation of new regulatory requirements such as fire safety, thermal and acoustic insulation and resistance to earthquakes, among others, without detracting from the original building;
• The need to recover artisanal techniques for the rehabilitation and integration of elements in wood, ceramics, stonework and many others in the spaces of the new Occupation Programs;
• The knowledge of the specific rules for intervention in these buildings, located in old urban centers, mostly historical heritage of the cities;
• The integration of specialties such as archeology and anthropology in the most appropriate moments of the project and the work, in order to ensure a realization with controlled risks.
