WINDOW OR BALCONY? WHY NOT BOTH?

To solve the problem of space in apartments, Dutch designers associated with brand manufacturers of aluminum and created a window that is at the same time, a balcony.

The idea came from the company’s designers HofmanDujardin, that faced with all the difficulties in turning this idea into reality, never gave up and joined a leading manufacturer of aluminium façades, Kawneer, thus creating this solution: the Bloomframe Window.



Manufactured in aluminium, with a capacity to support 350 Kg, the first prototype featured a opaque background, however, in the last presentation of this solution, it already showed a base composed of two glass panels that fold out from the facade, thus forming a balcony that lets you have a fabulous view of the surrounding space. The fact that you can select either the dimensions of the window, you want your colors, will allow this solution suits without difficulties the aesthetics of buildings.

The window activation is done by a touch of a button, causing it to turn into a balcony window. Currently, this solution is not yet for sale, since the manufacturer is performing the final tune-ups before placing it on the market, however, given its elegant design, coupled with the possibility of resolving the problem of space in apartments, it will not be surprising that in the near future it starts being implemented in buildings near you.
