DDN PRESENT IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FIRST SHOPPING CENTER IN ALENTEJO – EVORA SHOPPING

The project whose construction was stopped for over 2 years and was presented as one of the major projects for the Alentejo, has been resumed in full all work, aiming for its completion and opening during the third quarter of 2017.

The Evora Shopping, situated next to the neighborhood of Almeirim, represents a global investment of 35 million euros, being the first Mall in the Alentejo region.



With a total area exceeding 20,000 m2, the mall will provide around 1,000 parking spaces so that its visitors can enjoy with total comfort its 2 floors of more than 70 shops, 4 to 6 theaters, supermarket and food court.

It is estimated around 300,000 shoppers coming within a 100 km radius, shoppers which to this date went to Setúbal, Montijo or Badajoz for their shopping needs.

The Evora Shopping represents a center of economic and tourist attraction for the entire Alentejo region, which will create a large number of direct and indirect jobs.

For this project, Ares Capital selected DDN to perform Project Management, Coordination and Supervision of Works, always counting with the competence and the quality of services that DDN provides. The DST Group has been selected as the main contractor for the project.
